Overview
On June 1st, 2025, the Eco Hive Academy, together with WasteServ, transformed their grounds into a vibrant family funfair. The goal? To celebrate sustainability, raise awareness about recycling, and create a day where children could learn about the environment in a hands-on, exciting way.
To keep the atmosphere buzzing all day long, Gwilym provided both walkaround magic and stage entertainment. Families were amazed by Gwilym Bugeja as he mingled with the crowd performing astonishing close up magic, before gathering everyone together for the highlight of the event – The Great Green Magic Show.
The combination of personal interactions and a full stage production made the funfair not only educational, but truly magical from start to finish.
The Great Green Magic Show
The highlight of the day was the Great Green Magic Show a 45 minute performance designed especially for children and families. Packed with colourful props, surprising tricks, and plenty of chances for kids to join in, the show explored the three R’s of recycling in a way that was simple, exciting, and unforgettable.
Children laughed, gasped, and shouted out answers as Gwilym wove lessons about sustainability into each routine. Instead of sitting through a lecture, families experienced an eco-message that was fun, magical, and full of energy.
Magic Beyond the Stage
Between the stage shows, Gwilym roamed the funfair performing close-up magic for families. Parents and children alike enjoyed quick, astonishing tricks right before their eyes – creating special one-to-one moments that added sparkle to the event.
